James is a seasoned financial markets professional with over 10 years experience across both exchange traded and OTC derivatives. Having worked on the Institutional derivatives desk for a number of U.S. Investment Banks and Brokers, James draws upon this experience to deliver a first class Prime of Prime solution covering FX, CFDs, metals and oil to institutional and wholesale clients of Invast. He specialises in bespoke liquidity relationships for brokers, institutions, hedge funds, and professional money managers.
Nick has a wealth of experience working across global listed and OTC derivative markets in both voice and electronic environments. He is presently completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, has an engineering background and specialises in combining technical skill and knowledge of global markets with a deep desire to understand client needs to provide optimised prime services solutions.
David previously worked as part of UBS Investment Bank’s Prime Services Sales team in London. There he was involved in all aspects of selling UBS’ derivative execution and clearing services to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporates and Banks. He has a strong knowledge of the impact of Basel 3 Capital rules and the impact on the industry having been involved in re-pricing derivatives products for new and existing Prime Services clients.
Marcus has a strong quantitative background and previously led the dealing team at Invast Securities in Japan. He was responsible for optimisation of pricing, execution and liquidity of FX and CFD products. He possesses comprehensive knowledge about the Japanese financial industry and regulations. Speaking fluently in Japanese, English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Marcus specialises in providing the best liquidity solution to institutional clients in Asia-Pacific region.
Geoff has over 40 years experience in the financial markets. He specialises in providing optimised FX solutions to institutional traders, hedge funds, HFTs, brokers and banks. Geoff has worked as a trader and broker at many global investment banks including Citibank and Westpac. He was the first trader to make the market when the AUD/USD originally floated in 1983. Geoff ensures that all Invast clients and partners experience the best possible trading environment.
Benjamin has a Bachelor of Business (BBus), Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has also completed an exchange business program at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Benjamin has gained valuable experience within corporate restructuring and debt advisory in his previous roles. He joins Invast as we continue to establish our international prime services team.
Owen has gained experience in a range of industries and has demonstrated knowledge in Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Business Development and Operations in start-ups, multi-national corporations and not-for-profits. He has strong capability of multi-tasking, problem solving and cross-functional team coordination. Owen is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English and is currently pursuing an MBA and CFA.
Nicholas is in the penultimate year of a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Sydney, majoring in both Finance and Financial Economics. He has a strong background in the investment management industry, having spent time at Pengana Capital, a diversified funds management group managing over AUD$3 billion of assets. Nicholas has also been selected by the Sydney University Business School as an Equity Analyst within their Student Managed Investment Fund, to actively manage the Universities capital to help fund scholarships for disadvantaged students.
